Hi everyone! I’m super duper pumped to be blogging again! Life’s been busy, but it’s been fantastic. I’m blessed beyond anything I can comprehend or deserve. Also, I played a gig with the ol’ band near Fort Worth and in the middle of a song, I swallowed a fly. Yup. That happened. I don’t know exactly why I felt led to share that nugget of joy with the world, but there it is.
A quick update on the band…
1) We just released our first music video EVER! It has been such an exciting experience! Kyle Isenhower of Isenhower Productions was our director extraordinaire. He did a killer job and I highly recommend him for all your video production needs. Plus he’s neat. And he has a nice beard. Check out the final product –>

2) 9, read em, NINE days until the Stages EP Summer Tour begins! I’m heading to Lubbock, DFW area, Canyon/Amarillo area, Rockdale/Austin area, and Cortez, Colorado. w00t! ROFLMAO PWNEDDD (that one is for you Daves [inside joke]).
3) I love my band. Have I ever said that? Cause it’s totes true. They are my best friends in the entire world. I’m so blessed to do music and life with these fine folks. You’ll never find more genuine hearts, more humility, or better musicians than these people.

4) We had our li’l CD release show for the Stages EP (download your free copy of the album here if you haven’t already!) on July 5th. It was super fun-tastic. People seem to really like the new tunes (I know we do!) and we’ve received a great response so far. I especially enjoyed covering Politik by Coldplay! Neato factoid: On Halloween we will be playing the All Hallows Eve show at 502. We will be playing a Coldplay-only set. Hoorah!.

6) The Splendid Studios/music production side of things has certainly kicked into high gear as well! Renevus (Indie Rock), Ryan Proudfoot (Christian Singer/Songwriter), Ty Dillon (TX Country), Christopher George (Blues Rock/Pop), and Freddy Echiverri (Hard Rock) have all put out music in the last couple of months. I also have several active projects that I’m working on, so hooray for new stuff to do! Incidentally, my schedule through 2014 is filling up fast. If you want to get in the studio, hit me up asap!
